Testimonies
“I am doing some of the exercise classes, and it is really good to be able to do a bit of exercise, and to actually see the faces of a few like minded women. It relieves the isolation for a few precious hours a week” Kira
“Your efforts to help our health and wellbeing through offering these classes free and through accessible mode in Zoom are greatly appreciated.” Carol
“I would like to thank you for your help and Older Women’s Network to organise some online classes for us to attend during the isolation time. Those classes are so helpful and so great.” Thanh
“I’m normally not on the computer so these classes have been a God send in two ways – I’m on the computer teaching myself and the classes filled my home with the sounds of laughter and movement and all things positive which I needed over this long time.” OWN Member Queensland

Crafternoon with Lyndell
On Facebook (Crafternoon is also back meeting at Newtwon Wellness Centre on the 1st and third Saturday of the month at 2pm)
Crafternoon on Facebook has been set up as a place where you can support each other in your creative endeavours. You can show-off the things you are making or have made. Lyndell will be available if you have any crafting questions or problems.
Please join in by “commenting” on the Facebook page with photos and words about your project or to support a fellow crafty person.
Isolating can be a great time for us to catch up on some crafting and making. A time to get some work done on that UFO (unfinished object) or PHD (project half done). Or perhaps you want to start learning a new craft.
Making, crafting, stitching … they are great methods of ‘mindful meditation’ … a lovely (and productive) way to keep calm at this time of high anxiety.
