Who Are We?

At OWN Bankstown Wellness Centre, we welcome women of all cultures to build wellness, friendship and community. We offer fun, relaxation, acceptance and support.

We have a wide variety of classes to appeal to all levels of fitness and interests including:

Line Dancing for beginners and improvers (what a fabulous, fun way to exercise and improve coordination, balance and memory); Strength Exercises; Gentle Yoga; Drumming; Health and Falls Prevention through Fun and Fitness; Ukulele for beginners and beyond; Let’s Talk About (Health and Wellness discussion group); Zumba Gold and Restorative Yoga (release tension and embrace relaxation).

Term 2 2024

Bankstown Wellness Centre’s Term 1 will run from Monday 29th April to Wednesday 3rd July, 2024.

All classes will be available according to our program timetable below.

The Older Women’s Network was established in 1987 to promote the rights, dignity and wellbeing of older women. We recognise that wellness is more than good diet and regular exercise. In addition to physical health, our wellness model includes mental, social and emotional wellbeing.
