Who Are We?
At OWN Bankstown Wellness Centre, we welcome women of all cultures to build wellness, friendship and community. We offer fun, relaxation, acceptance and support.
We have a wide variety of classes to appeal to all levels of fitness including Line Dancing for beginners and improvers (what a fabulous fun way to exercise and improve our co-ordination, balance and memory); Strength and Balance and Gentle Exercise; Gentle Yoga; International Dancing; Health and Falls Prevention through Tai Chi; Ukulele for beginners and intermediate; Let’s Talk About (Health and Wellness discussion group); Guided Relaxation (to quieten your inner self and find your way to a calmer, happier and relaxed you) .

The Older Women’s Network was established in 1987 to promote the rights, dignity and wellbeing of older women. We recognise that wellness is more than good diet and regular exercise. In addition to physical health, our wellness model includes mental, social and emotional wellbeing.
