Learn a new skill, Enjoy an opera & be challenged
This is a time when we may need to do our part to ‘flatten’ the Covid-19 curve by staying at home or we may find ourselves isolating to keep people safe.
We can use this time as an opportunity to learn a new craft, study a foreign language, go to the opera, watch plays and even see penguins going about their daily routine!
There are so many useful and interesting things to discover online and we’ve selected some for you below. They are all free. If you come across anything which you would like to share with others, drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org
Together Connected and Together Connected Again – special edition magazines from the Older Women’s Network NSW
Seemingly overnight, COVID-19 changed our world. We stepped into a different reality and we have all been adjusting to a new way of living ever since.
Amongst the fear, worry and physical distancing, we want you to know that we are all in this together and we can maintain our usual humour, our interests, and be motivated by the stories of others.
We produced our first edition, Together Connected, in the midst of the initial lockdown in NSW in 2020. It was received so warmly we followed it up during the lockdown of 2021 in NSW with a second edition – Together Connected Again.
We hope you enjoy these articles of remarkable older women, snippets of information and ideas designed just with you in mind.
